Manuel is a Mexican actor based in New York City. He started his studies in Tabasco, Mexico, where he starred as Eugene in "Grease". In 2010 he moved to NYC to study at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA). Manuel has participated in several plays and musicals in New York. He made his Off-Broadway debut as Greg in the World Premiere of "Dream Babies: The Musical". Regionally he was seen as Pablo in the La Comedia Dinner Theatre Production of "Sister Act: The Musical". Other theatre credits include Daniel (Lead) in the NY Premiere of "Love Like A Hun", Lumiere in "The Beauty and The Beast", Benny in "Guys and Dolls", Sir Jasper in "Me and My Girl". Manuel has also been part of several works in development, most recently playing Otavio/Father Joseph in the reading of the new play “The Jaguar Woman”, Manny in the song cycle “29LIVES”, The Outsider in the new musical “Songs and Dogs”, and Carlos in the reading of "Manhattan Transits". Manuel co-starred alongside Josh Mostel (Jesus Christ Superstar, Sophie's Choice) and Academy Award Nominee Cathy Moriarty (Raging Bull) in the short film “The Amazing Ray”, which was an official selection at the Beverly Hills Film Festival and the Boston International Film Festival. “The Amazing Ray” is now available on iTunes. Manuel also guest starred in the Web Series “New Heights” available on Facebook.
